** Firman Tuhan: Matius 21:6 **

** Scripture: Matthew 21:6 **
"Then the disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them"
In service, I often ask questions to the students about the purpose of their lives. Most felt confused and could not answer. However, there is also confidently said, "I want to live to the glory of God." This statement is consistent with the exposure of Rick Warren in The Purpose-Driven Life. The question that remains is: How exactly does it glorify God?
The story of two disciples in today's passage could perhaps give a glimpse. When Jesus told them to take an ass, they do so with the devout. They are also working on the command line with instructions and remain humble. The work itself seems trivial and not popular and is usually only done by a slave. After all, they did not protest. Who would have thought that obedience was then led to the procession of Jesus where He dieluk cheered and honored by the people? What's more, they were used by God to honor and fulfill the prophecy of Jesus in Zechariah 9:9 and Psalm 118:26.
So, the key is to glorify God in obedience to do His bidding. Criterion is not how great we are or how big action effects. Actions that seem trivial, provided that overflow of God's love fills our hearts, remained significant. Yes, is not intended to glorify God inviting praise from men, but to please Him.
