Walau Di Dalam Keadaan Sulit Sekalipun (Despite Even In The Difficult Circumstances)

** Firman Tuhan: Mazmur 40:5 **
"Berbahagialah orang, yang menaruh kepercayaannya pada TUHAN."

       Saat ini keadaan begitu sulit dan kadang menakutkan. Banyak orang sulit memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari dan keamanan diri pun terancam. Orang tak segan menindas atau bahkan menghabisi nyawa sesamanya hanya karena persoalan sepele. Tak ayal, ketika ada orang berbuat baik, orang kadang berkomentar, "Masih ada orang seperti itu ya?" Mereka heran karena sulit menemukan orang yang baik di tengah masyarakat.

       Dunia ini memberikan seribu alasan untuk mengeluh dan bersungut-sungut, tetapi orang yang memercayai Allah akan tetap bersyukur. Itulah yang dialami oleh pemazmur dalam keadaan yang begitu sulit. Ia dikepung malapetaka dan kematian (Mazmur 40:13, 15), serta sengsara dan miskin (ay. 18). Akan tetapi, ia memilih untuk tetap memercayai Allah. Ia pun memperoleh kelegaan. Pertama, ia diselamatkan dari kebinasaan yang mengepungnya (Mazmur 40:3a). Kedua, ia dikuatkan dalam menghadapi masalah dan dituntun oleh Tuhan (Mazmur 40:3b). Ketiga, Tuhan menaruh ucapan syukur dalam mulutnya (Mazmur 40:4a). Dan keempat, kehidupannya memberikan dampak sosial yang baik sehingga ada orang-orang yang datang kepada Tuhan (Mazmur 40:4b).

       Dengan melihat teladan yang diberikan oleh pemazmur dalam menghadapi persoalan hidupnya yang begitu sulit, kita juga dapat memilih untuk memercayai Allah dalam keadaan apa pun. Allah pasti menolong, menguatkan, dan memberikan hati yang tetap bersyukur kepada kita. Kiranya orang lain melihat perbuatan Allah yang menakjubkan melaui hidup kita sehingga mendorong mereka untuk datang memercayai Allah.

KEYAKINAN AKAN KEMAHAKUASAAN ALLAH MEMAMPUKAN KITA

UNTUK TETAP PERCAYA PADA-NYA DALAM SEGALA KEADAAN.

** Scripture: Psalm 40:5 **
"Blessed are those, who put his trust in the Lord."

        The current situation is so difficult and sometimes scary. Many people find it difficult to meet their daily needs and safety of self is threatened. People did not hesitate to persecute or even kill his neighbor lives just because a trivial issue. No doubt, when people do good, people often commented, "There are still people like that huh?" They were surprised because it's hard to find a good man in the community.

        This gives the world a thousand reasons to complain and grumble, but the people who believe in God will remain grateful. That is experienced by the psalmist in such difficult circumstances. He was surrounded doom and death (Psalm 40:13, 15), as well as the poor and needy (Psalm 40:18). However, he chose to keep trusting God. He also obtained relief. First, he was saved from the destruction that surrounded him (Psalm 40:3a). Second, he was strengthened in the face of problems and guided by God (Psalm 40:3b). Third, God put in his mouth thanksgiving (Psalm 40:4a). And fourth, the social impact of life is good so there are those who come to God (Psalm 40:4b).

        By looking at the example given by the psalmist in the face of life issues are so difficult, we can also choose to trust God in any circumstance. God certainly help, strengthen, and give hearts remain grateful to us. Presumably others see the amazing works of God through our lives thus encouraging them to come to trust God.
