Karena Mirip (Because Similar)

** Firman Tuhan: 2 Raja-raja 5:11 **
"Aku sangka bahwa setidak-tidaknya ia datang ke luar dan berdiri memanggil nama TUHAN... dan dengan demikian menyembuhkan penyakit kustaku!"

       Kami kehilangan kontak dengan seorang saudara laki-laki kami selama 15 tahun. Berita terakhir yang kami dapat, ia berada di sebuah kota di Kalimantan Selatan, telah menikah dengan wanita setempat, berganti agama dan identitas. Pada pertengahan 2011, dua abang saya (salah satunya seorang angota TNI) mencarinya, tanpa alamat.

       Mereka bertanya kepada para kepala desa, ketua-ketua RT dan RW, tetapi tidak ada yang tahu. Mereka mencari komunitas-komunitas suku Batak, tetapi tidak mendapatkan informasi yang berarti. Setelah semua cara dilakukan, mereka menyerah dan bersiap pulang dengan tangan hampa. Ketika sepeda motor mereka berhenti di tepi jalan, seorang pemuda mendekati mereka dan bertanya, "Bapak kok mirip sekali dengan abang yang di sana itu?" Lalu mereka mengikuti pemuda itu ke sebuah daerah perkebunan yang cukup jauh. Puji Tuhan, mereka menemukan abang saya.

       Ketika Naaman mendatangi Elisa untuk disembuhkan dari kustanya, ia sudah memiliki konsep sendiri tentang bagaimana nabi Allah itu akan mengatasi masalahnya. Lalu ia disuruh mandi tujuh kali ke dalam sungai Yordan. Hanya itu. Dan ia menolaknya. Cara Tuhan itu sama sekali lain dari bayangannya semula. Namun, berkat nasehat bijak para pegawainya, akhirnya ia taat. Hasilnya, ia pun sembuh.

       Manusia sering kali mengambil peran Tuhan dalam melakukan sesuatu. Mereka membatasi Tuhan sehingga akhirnya gagal melihat-Nya berkarya. Terbukalah kepada-Nya dan taatilah Dia, maka Anda akan terpesona akan Dia.

SERING KALI TAK TERDUGA DAN BERBEDA DARI PEMIKIRAN KITA,
TETAPI CARA TUHAN TETAP YANG TERBAIK
