** Firman Tuhan: Matius 27:3a **

** Scripture: Matthew 27:3a
"Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself"

** Scripture: Matthew 27:3a
"Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself"
Whether consciously or not, people often suppose about the experience that has been passed. For example, "If I had done that, certainly now not be like this"; or, "I wish I had saved up, surely we are not difficult family situation as it is now." Edges arise resentment, regret, self-blame, and lost hope. Worse yet, we are reluctant to seek a way out.
Will drool material reward, Judas handed Jesus bear arms to the chief priests and the elders of the Jews. It seems that Judas did not think what would happen with the Lord Jesus. He did not know if the punishment awaiting the Lord Jesus died. Matthew records that Judas was sorry. It could be that Judas remarks "if" to himself. "If I did not betray Jesus, Jesus certainly was not sentenced to death." Unfortunately, regret too late, and not stirring to repent. The fruit is very bitter. Judas committed suicide (Matthew 27: 5).
How often we regret later on top of what we did in the past, including in sin. We then began to suppose, "Ah, if only ..." It's a pity if it continues as one regret, namely the excessive self-pity or even away from God. Actually there is a way out of regret it.

We can repent and start a new step with the Lord Jesus who never leaves us.
