Ia diminta menghadiri acara wisuda anaknya. Tiket pesawat sudah tersedia. Seharusnya, ia patut bersukacita. Nyatanya, tidak! Ia teringat akan doanya dulu. Ia takut doanya terkabul: mati setelah diizinkan Tuhan naik pesawat.
Bagaimana seandainya Tuhan mengabulkan semua doa kita?

** Scripture: Romans 8:26 A **
"Likewise the Spirit also helprth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought."
A father recounts, when he was a child in the village, he was fascinated by airplanes. While herding buffalo in the foothills, he often looked up at aircraft passing in the sky. Then he prayed earnestly, "Lord, let me get on a plane one time only. After that so-so I die."
Later he married and had children. One of his lectures at leading universities in Java and graduated with good grades. He was asked to attend the graduation ceremony of his son. Tickets are already available. Supposedly, he should celebrate. In fact, no! He remembered the first prayer. He was afraid prayers had been answered: God died after being allowed on a plane.
What if God answered all our prayers? What we demand is always good for us and those around us? Or, just the opposite? The Apostle Paul repeatedly insists that all have sinned. Sin into our character, our forces disarmed and unable to ask, let alone do, what is good in God's eyes. Therefore, God save us through Christ so that we may have hope (Romans 8:24). She gave the Holy Spirit, who enables us to live for God.Without the Spirit of God, even praying (asking for something) Allah alone was we do not know.
Thank God he lives in us so that we are able to believe that God works all things together for our good (Romans 8:28).
